Last night we designed a virtual environment using software to recreate how our gear works for demo purposes and song writing. Of course we're super nerds so we had a lot of fun setting it up and it sounds pretty cool to hear a computer try to replicate what our gear does, but the experience just became more proof positive that plug-ins suck.

Keyphase's recording studio is not an office. There are no computers here. Our software arsenal is small and minimal. That's why we like using real synthesizers and real keyboards.
